BTB Marketplace
Marketplace Rules & Seller Standards
Clear rules keep buyers safer, protect good sellers, and make payouts and disputes easier to understand.
What sellers can list
Sellers can list legitimate physical inventory they own and fulfill. Storefront $9.99 and higher may also list eligible BTB Verified Products from approved supplier lanes. Products must match the listing, condition, price, photos, and availability shown to buyers.
Items not allowed
BTB does not allow illegal or high-risk regulated goods, including firearms or ammunition, explosives or fireworks, tobacco/nicotine/vape products, controlled or recreational drugs, prescription medication, counterfeit or stolen goods, spyware/stalkerware, and hazardous or toxic materials. BTB may remove or hold a listing when safety, authenticity, legality, or ownership needs review.
Seller fees
Native Marketplace orders use the posted Marketplace sale fee. When an owned-inventory purchase is completed through the temporary eBay bridge, BTB does not charge its native Marketplace sale fee on that external order and eBay fees may apply. BTB Verified Products use Storefront checkout economics and supplier costs that are validated before publishing. Optional paid services are never silently added.
Shipping & tracking
Sellers must ship accurately and on time, use valid tracking when shipping, and only mark an order delivered when delivery has actually occurred. Local pickup may be offered when the listing supports it.
BTB Verified Products
Verified supplier products are fixed-price items and must use BTB storefront checkout. They are not routed through the owned-inventory eBay lane. BTB validates the seller plan, payment connection, supplier fulfillment lane, product price, and restricted-item rules before the listing can go live. Supplier availability can change, so BTB may pause or hide an item that is no longer fulfillment-ready.
Payouts & holds
Funds are held until delivery. The current post-delivery hold is three days for new sellers, two for established sellers, one for trusted sellers, and may be same-day for top-tier sellers. Open cases or payment problems can pause payout release.
Returns, refunds & cases
Buyers can open a Marketplace case from their BTB account for returns, refunds, items not received, or items that do not match the listing. BTB can hold seller funds while a case is reviewed and may issue a refund when the case supports it.
Auctions & offers
Sellers must honor accepted offers and valid winning bids. Sellers cannot bid on their own listings. Auction reserve prices and minimum bid increments must be set before the auction ends.
Seller trust
BTB tracks completed sales, ratings, returns, cancellations, disputes, and fulfillment performance. Strong seller history can improve payout timing; abusive or unsafe activity can lead to listing removal, payout holds, or seller suspension.
