How is your business registered?

No Stripe account needed to create your shop. Save your free Marketplace profile, products and drafts first. When ready to accept your own customers' payments, BTB starts a secure connected payment account in the background. Stripe verifies the legal owner and payout bank; a sole proprietor can choose “Individual.”

Why is payment verification needed?

BTB already collects payment for its own Creator Shop and subscriptions. For sales belonging to your independent business, BTB must verify where your proceeds go before accepting orders. You won't need a second payment connection for that same business's eligible Storefront and Marketplace products. No bank details are collected by BTB support.

Other payment providers aren't activated for seller checkout. Your drafts stay saved while approval is pending; BTB will never call a pending payment account approved.

Once Stripe shows “Information submitted,” return to BuyThisBusiness. Stripe may still need to review your information; payments remain inactive until Stripe confirms approval.

One $9.99/month Storefront plan unlocks one ecommerce shop per business plus eligible shared Marketplace products. Pro, Owner Pro and All Access include it already. The Marketplace seller profile itself stays free. Connect and verify Stripe before paid listings.

Marketplace listings reference their original Commerce SKU and Storefront checkout. Gelato printing, Printify/Printful clothing, downloads and supplier items require their individual payment and delivery checks. Book printing and physical NFC manufacturing are not currently offered on BTB.
